I have enjoyed participating in physical activities all my life, but in the past two years I have discovered more about what that truly means. For me to be well, my life has to include physical activity. I had the pleasure of meeting Jen at a boot camp weekend and it was very easy to tell that she has a passion for fitness and a great desire to help others! That passion and desire were the reasons why I hired Jen to help me safely return to exercise from surgery. What I received from Jen were exercise routines for both cardio and circuits that safely increased weekly as my capabilities increased! Thank you Jen!

What can I say - Jen is the Bomb !!!!!!! I first heard about Jen through my wife who had signed up for a boot camp and one-on-one personal training. My wife would tell me that Jen would kick her butt and that I should go to one of the boot camps to try it out for myself. At first I was like "yeah right a girl trainer kicking my butt." I went to one of these boot camps and, what can I say, I ended up signing for a boot camp and a one-on-one personal training package.
What I like about Jen is if you say I want my legs and abs to look good she makes it happen. I was 153 lbs, size 34 and was out of shape for over 5 years and now I am 142 lbs, a size 32 and have a 4 pack (still working on the 6 pack.) While I was working with Jen, I also was personally running a mile at a 7 minute pace and 4 miles at a 30 minute pace at home, and still Jen would make me breathe like a fish out of water in only a half hour session! I am glad that I met Jen because she helped kick start my path to getting healthy.

After losing 34 pounds working out on my own, I basically got stuck in a rut. I was not able to drop any any weight for about two months.
Just shortly after the new year, I met Jen at my local gym. We started chatting and I explained my issues on not being able to lose any more weight. She offered to give me a complimentary session. Just minutes into our session I was breaking a sweat. Jen had me doing a workout I thought I could never do. Pull ups, dips, push ups box jumps - you name it we did it! She had figured out ways to modify each routine so that I would be able to do them and still get the full benefits of the workout.
Just a few weeks later I signed up for Jen's outdoor boot camp and two months of one-on-one personal training. Our first official session was February 2nd. I was weighing 250 pounds in a size 20. Jen had her work cut out for her but every day she came up with new and challenging ways to almost make me break...so I thought. In reality, she was actually teaching me that I was fully capable of doing what ever I put my mind to. She totally understood when I said enough was enough but also knew when to push if I wasn't giving enough. In just the first month, Jen and I managed to get 10 pounds off and about 2 inches off my arms, hips, thighs, tummy and butt. These were results that took me twice the time and effort to get alone.
I'm happy to say that as of May 25, 2009 I am 222 pounds and wearing a size 16. I have lost 26 inches over all. I know its sounds sappy but without Jen's motivation, nutritional advice and workout plan, I would still be in my rut or maybe would have quit all together. Getting healthy is hard to do alone and sometimes that extra push is what you need to make the change.
